_Overview of Responsibilities:_
This position is responsible for generating timely and accurate financial reporting for Frostwood Farms and Frostwood Farms Kitchen.
The Accountant will ensure that general ledger maintenance and financial reporting are handled consistently, accurately, and efficiently.
This position will assist in creating and implementing the effective processes and procedures needed to track and record financial information.
This position will have additional administrative responsibilities to support the operational teams.
This position will report to the Frostwood Farms Controller.
_Accounting: _
* Reconcile accounts, track inventory, and cost of goods sold.
* Track and follow-up on all billings and outstanding accounts receivable.
* Record and reconcile all cash deposits, checks, and credit card payments received.
* Reconcile all bank accounts monthly.
* Perform all accounts payable duties for the business.
* Prepare quarterly financial statements, reports and analysis as required.
* Maintain all fixed asset records including depreciation schedules.
* Create Sales reporting summary and file sales tax return.
* Complete year end workpapers for annual tax return and personal property tax returns.
* Complete special projects as assigned.
_Administrative: _
* Assist the operational teams with administrative tasks including organizing files, updating and documenting policies and procedures.
* Support the Controller to oversee certain HR functions and other organizational items for each entity.
* Understand and update our POS and online sales system.

_Essential Skills and Experience:_
* College degree in an Accounting or a related field is preferred.
* 2+ years of experience in accounting is preferred.
* Interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to work within a team-based environment
* Ability to perform and manage multiple tasks
* Planning and organizational skills
* Technical Skills preferred - Microsoft Word/ Excel/Outlook/ SharePoint/Accounting software
