Key Responsibilities Payroll Management: Accurately process and manage the company's payroll on a weekly basis, ensuring all cost codes, hours, calculations and deductions are precise.
Ability to hold self and others accountable to meet commitments, consistently delivering results within required timelines and expectations.
Maintain confidential employee records, updating personal and payroll information as required, and ensuring data integrity.
Benefits Administration: Assist with benefits enrollment and provide exceptional support to employees with inquiries related to their benefits.
Address employee payroll and benefits issues with care, empathy, and efficiency, striving to provide timely solutions.
Human Resources Liaison Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy.
This includes the ability to speak and write clearly to deliver service excellence – over the phone, through e-mail, or in all other interactions.
Work collaboratively with others, creating partnerships with management, colleagues, and the rest of the human resources function.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle numerous projects simultaneously, while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail.
Qualifications Associates Degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience of 3+ years Prior experience in payroll and benefits coordination Strong analytical and mathematical skills Excellent attention to detail and organization Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience with Job Cost or Data Center Costing Payroll is a plus Knowledge of applicable federal and state payroll and benefits regulations is advantageous A passion for promoting a positive work environment and employee well-being Job Duties of Payroll and Benefits Coordinator: Onboarding Offer Letters Pre-Employment Drug Screen and Physical Appts UKG Digital Onboarding (I9, W4, Handbooks, Benefits review) MJT Badge MJT Crews – Default Job/Codes/ MVR Benefits Life Events Quarterly Shop Talks New Hire Enrollment Annual Open Enrollment PR Documentation Wage/Status Changes – Probation, Promotions, Shift Changes, etc (Class Wage), UKG Wage Garnishments – Child Support 401K Enrollment, Benefit Enrollment/Benefit Changes Attendance Tracking/Points Probation Tracking – Holiday/Flex/Vacation Life Insurance Tracking Payroll Processing MJT Review – including Job, Cost Code, Hours, OT and Breaktime rules Gross Adjusts – Foreman Shift OT Referral Bonus Company Holiday Entry (Adjust for Probation) Office PR Processing Check Processing/Stubs Register Approval-ACH Labor Hours Reporting for LE Reports Vacation Tracking Annual Shop Bonus and Annual Tool Allowance Checks FMLA/STD/LTD/Leaves Ensure compliance with Corporate Leave Policies Assist EE’s with FLMA/STD filings Follow up on Leave/RTW documentation Communication Assist EE’s with login/passwords for UKG & Benefit Focus (paystubs, W2s) Answer/Investigate HR and PR questions Ensure compliance with Corporate Required Trainings Anniversary Gifts Life Event Gifts Terminations Exit Interviews UKG Processing Unemployment Claims Responses Verification of Employment Safety Training Tracker Safety Observations SDS updates Monthly Safety Shop Talks Safety Days (Donuts & Subs) Marketing Social Media Employee Engagement Event Planning Apparel Orders Community Outreach
