*Overview:*
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to join our client's finance team.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, be proficient in Excel and SAP/SAC, and have the ability to communicate financial insights effectively to various stakeholders.
The FP&A Analyst will play a crucial role in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, supporting decision-making processes across the organization.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* *Data Management:*
* Pulling data from legacy systems and aggregating it into Excel, creating Pivot tables for analysis.
* Building and maintaining reports in SAP/SAC, collaborating with the IT team to ensure accurate and efficient data extraction and reporting processes.
* *Variance Analysis:*
* Conducting variance analysis to identify discrepancies between actual and budgeted performance.
* Collaborating with different teams to understand and explain variances, crafting the financial narrative behind the numbers.
* *Daily Sales Reporting:*
* Generating daily sales reports and distributing them to relevant teams.
* Providing insights into month-to-date sales performance, highlighting trends and areas for improvement.
* *Annual Operating Plan (AOP):*
* Assisting in the preparation of the Annual Operating Plan, working closely with department heads to develop accurate forecasts and budgets.
* *Executive Communication:*
* Communicating financial insights and findings to executive leadership, translating complex financial data into actionable insights.
* Presenting analysis and recommendations to executives to support strategic decision-making.
*Qualifications:*
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred.
* 2+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, preferably in a corporate setting.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas.
* Experience with SAP/SAC or similar ERP systems is highly desirable.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
* Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
