Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant will work with the Accounting team to complete the monthly financial close process, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining appropriate internal controls and compliance with financial regulatory requirements.
They will help provide the foundation for informed decision-making and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization.
*What You'll be Doing:* * Financial month-end close process, including the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations and financial analysis * Assists with maintaining fixed asset records and associated depreciation * Help facilitate with internal and external audits * Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements (IFRS) * Reconciles and investigates cash variances * Recommends and implements improvements in processes to increase effectiveness of department, as needed * Completion of other projects and performs other support functions directed by the Controller *Experience/Preferred Skills:* * 1-3 years in a role with similar responsibilities * Bachelor’s in accounting or equivalent * Strong analytical skills and attention to detail * Willing to work in an international environment * Ability to work in a changing environment - person who thrives in a fast-paced world where priorities change * Highly motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.
