Accounts payable: processing vendor invoices and expense reimbursements
Billing: processing client bills on a monthly basis
Accounts Receivable: monitoring accounts receivable and assisting with collection efforts
Recording and depositing daily payments
Month-end and year-end closing

Education Requirement
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Work Experience
Minimum: Two years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end closings.
Preferred: Law firm or other professional services industry experience.
Required skills, knowledge, and abilities: Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles; proficiency with Microsoft Office, with advanced working knowledge of Excel, and accounting software; accurate data entry skills; strong verbal and written communication skills; competence in problem resolution.
Physical Requirements
While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
The employee frequently is required to operate a computer.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
The position includes sitting and a certain amount of standing and walking to carry out job duties.
The position also requires the ability to lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifting and/or carrying items, such as dockets, ledgers and client files.
