Job Purpose:
This position is responsible for providing payroll onboarding for first time clients onto a new payroll system, ongoing payroll file assistance, setting up different types of payroll feature for our clients depending on the plan needs, working alongside several different payroll providers, presentation of payroll to prospective clients, and day to day contact with Plan Sponsors, Financial Advisors, Payroll providers, internal plan consultants and regional managers.
This role is responsible for ensuring client satisfaction with processing payroll, helping explain to the clients why it is important to provide correct payroll census information and problem solving.
The payroll consultant must be able to coordinate and deliver excellent customer service while multi-tasking multiple different projects and at same time providing a professional atmosphere for the clients and internal colleagues.
The consultant will need to meet client expectations with a cheerful outlook resulting in continued retirement plan growth and contribution to company's continued success.
This role will require a working knowledge of Plan Compensation, retirement eligibility for multiple types of retirement plans, and perform due diligence within the different plan types we service.
The role will require the need to continue obtaining knowledge through training and career courses.
Job Responsibilities: List of general activities, duties and/or tasks typically performed within the job Provide expertise and guidance in all aspects of payroll service upon the website Assist clients in maneuvering the website Function as an advocate for our existing clients representing their interests and importance in Retirement Operations.
Create an environment of excellent customer service to retain clients, financial advisors, and plan assets Meet and exceed the service level agreements to our internal and external clients by timely correspondence in all types Ability to assist with frustrated clients who do not understand the importance of reporting all census details Ability to review and follow procedures, processes and provide ongoing feedback to continue efficiencies to the payroll process and to the company Continue to learn and become a Subject Matter Expert.
Provide feedback to supervisor for any at risk situations Assist clients on incoming and outgoing phone calls by logged into phone system Disciplined to complete and take responsibility for his/her own work Be available for work during the client hours and ensure the work completed timely The ability to collaborate with a team Demonstrate professionalism on camera to internal/external clients Be present, engaged in meetings and display teamwork Confidence to think freely Provide honest feedback and take ownership for his/her own success Ability to manage multiple different systems/programs Ability to communicate in a professional manner to internal/external clients Not afraid to indicate when a mistake has been created and grow based on the situation The above statement of duties is not intended to be all inclusive and other duties will be assigned from time to time.

Bachelor's degree in Business or Insurance or equivalent trade-off in related professional work experience.
4 years of retirement plan experience Demonstrated knowledge of retirement plan administration concepts, policies and procedures.
Demonstration of effective presentation, oral and written communication skills.
Demonstration of effective interpersonal and customer focused skills.
Demonstration of effective analytical, organizational and planning skills.
Demonstration of effective leadership skills.
Completed RPF Complete DC-1 and DC-2 to achieve QKA Compensation may vary based on the job level, your geographic work location, position incentive plan and exemption status.
Base Salary Range: $58,400.
00 - $87,600.
