The YMCA of Dane County is hiring a HR/Payroll Specialist to join our Human Resources team.

Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE PAYROLL ROLE:
2-year Associates Degree or relevant experience
1+ years of Payroll experience
Strong math understanding
Attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent Microsoft Office Suite experience (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Strong Organizational skills
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE HR/PAYROLL SPECIALIST
Enter data into the payroll system to compute wages and deductions
Prepare and process payroll.
Review wages and correct errors to ensure the accuracy of payroll.
Enter and track changes affecting net wages such as exemptions, insurance coverage, and loan payments for each employee to update master payroll records.
