It’s an exciting time to join Baker Tilly! We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Capital Formation Team Team.

In this role, you will work closely with Partners and Managers servicing existing clients to deliver financial advisory services such as:
Evaluating the appropriateness of proposed transactions relative to the business strategy of clients
Teaming with potential borrowers to determine the structure of proposed transactions, negotiate a term sheet with borrowers and investors on behalf of the client
Financial modeling for transactions
Preparing write-ups and underwriting of transactions for board meetings
NMTC application writing, data analysis, community impact analysis, pipeline building and obtaining capital commitments
Assisting clients to locate and vet transactions, if necessary
Educating potential lenders and community stakeholders to participate in transactions
General consulting to assist clients in achieving its objectives
Qualifications:
Successful candidates will meet the following requirements:
An undergraduate degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Accounting or Finance, or real estate preferred
Outstanding academic performance required, with a minimum overall GPA of 3.
0 required with at least a 3.
2 GPA preferred
Relevant internship, work experience and/or involvement with a professional organization
Demonstrated analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management, and communication skills
Ability to provide exceptional client service and demonstrate commitment to continuous learning in order to stay current regarding applicable strategies
Understanding of real estate financials and operating performance
Willingness to travel
