The Senior Financial Analyst will lead development of the annual operating budget, rolling forecasts, other financial plans, and monthly reporting packages for these functions.
The Senior Financial Analyst will serve as a key finance business partner for departments throughout the UnityPoint Health-Meriter healthcare system and work with business partners to develop financial models/proformas to analyze business unit performance and support decision-making.
This role will be 100% remote (candidates from California, New York, Oregon, Puerto Rico, Vermont, Washington, and Washington DC are not eligible to apply).

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
5-7 years’ experience in Finance or Accounting or similar role with complex analytical assignments
Excellent Microsoft Office Suite experience (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Critical thinking skills, working both independently and in a team, prioritizing workload and meeting deadlines
Ability to present findings to management
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in finance or healthcare administration
Experience developing a complex operating budget
Experience in healthcare with understanding of reimbursement
Professional certification (i.
e.
CPA, CMA, CHFP)
Working in complex computer financial systems
Advanced Excel knowledge (pivot tables, powerpivot, vlooksups, etc)
