We are seeking a talented individual to join our team in the Accounting Department.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing various corporate accounting processes and playing a central role in ensuring the company's compliance with new and existing accounting rules and regulations.
This position will involve assisting in internal controls compliance, executing ongoing risk monitoring programs, and providing input into the design and implementation of key controls.
Additionally, the Senior Financial Reporting Analyst will ensure that business unit processes are well-established and in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
They will help identify efficiencies, minimize redundancies across business units, and achieve operational effectiveness and efficiency while ensuring the reliability of financial reporting.
In fulfilling these responsibilities, this position will require effective collaboration with all levels of the organization.

What You’ll Be Doing Manage the preparation of monthly and annual condensed and consolidated financial statements, including the Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Statement of Cash Flows.
Develop and perform monthly analytical reporting for management.
Monitor and stay informed about new and proposed accounting and regulatory developments, evaluating their potential impact on financial statements.
Assist with the annual audit with independent external auditors and internal team members.
Assist with the annual valuation with an independent valuation team and internal team members.
Support the accounting and finance team by providing guidance on accounting and reporting matters.
Offer general and technical guidance regarding internal controls to the Accounting and other departments.
Play an integral role in supporting our accounting system and ERP Platform by maintaining the chart of accounts, developing reports, and more.
Assist with month-end close.
Perform other duties as needed.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA License preferred.
4 years in the accounting or auditing profession, with at least two years in a consumer product or retail environment preferred.
Excellent project management skills, and ability to multitask in a time-sensitive environment.
Preferred experience with PowerBI, PowerQuery, and Anaplan.
Strong analytical, organizational, decision-making, and administrative skills.
Possess a high degree of initiative and motivation, with a willingness to assist fellow Vortex departments and customers.
Must demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
SAP experience preferred.
