Maintain required documents to allow this facility to maintain compliance with FSMA, Good Manufacturing Practices and Dietary Supplement Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMPS) and any other applicable local, state, federal and international regulatory requirements.
Responsible for tasks associated with laboratory master sanitation schedule, maintain clean working surfaces
Perform product analysis
Instrument maintenance and calibration
Maintain environmental program, sample preparation, weekly and situational sponging
Responsible for reporting and positive release, communication of out or spec product, COA preparation, result data entry
Review, update, train and maintains SOPs
Responsible for retaining sample organization
Metal detector verifications
Coordinate sampling to third party lab, collecting and sending
Assist with product investigations
You are best suited for the role if you…
1-3 years laboratory experience preferred
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret production and laboratory data.
Ability to conduct general mathematics related to production or laboratory tasks.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions related to production processes, quality, food safety, audits, regulatory requirements, and production issues.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have proficient computer skills related to ERP, SAP and MS Office Suite.
Ability to learn and execute all sample testing procedures
Legible handwriting required
Ability to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays as needed
Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently with good time management and organizational skills
