DESCRIPTION
Manage the maintenance staff and maintenance functions related to operational readiness and facility integrity of the Randolph facility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include but are not limited to the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Source and obtain quotes for equipment, supplies and services
Present options for capital projects
Complete Capital Asset Request Forms
Custom design efficient production processes and equipment or modify equipment
Coordinate installation of new equipment and manage construction projects
Approve invoices related to maintenance
Supervise water treatment process and well sampling
Prioritize maintenance projects
Assist in R&D of new products
Make new R&D samples of product and packaging
Troubleshoot, repair, renovate, install, operate and maintain facilities, fixtures, equipment and grounds
Scope of work to include project management, drafting/design, basic wiring, cabling, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, painting, fabrication/assembly, and general repairs
Coordinates activities of outside services/contractors as needed
Obtains quotes and procures necessary materials to perform work
Participate in the divisional safety committee
Manage Maintenance Supervisor and their supervision of:
Maintenance Technicians
All maintenance repairs of facilities buildings, grounds, production, equipment, and vehicles
Facility CMMS and preventive maintenance program
Specification and ordering of maintenance parts and supplies
Maintaining a reasonable inventory of parts and supplies
Performs other duties as assigned by general manager
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 10 years work experience in maintenance trade or vocational schooling.
Minimum of 5 years maintenance management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, heating and refrigeration equipment, welding and plumbing systems preferred.
Experience with HMI panels highly desirable.
Basic computer skills required.
