Our Manufacturing Engineer – Fabrication team is integral to the success of helping to support the hundreds of sheet metal fabricated parts we produce each day.
This position will join a team of 29 engineers that are dedicated to this function.

Primary Responsibilities
Provide technical support to troubleshoot and Lead Root Cause analysis of equipment breakdowns.
Liaison with internal maintenance and engineering and OEM service to expedite repairs and minimize downtime.
Provide Manufacturing Engineering (Fabrication) leadership for production support and continuous improvement teams.
Support specification, installation, and startup of new fabrication equipment.
Ensure that quality levels and industry standards are maintained or improved in the manufacturing process.
Program CNC Equipment
Solicit feedback from both internal and external customers for process, quality, and safety improvements and lead or support implementation efforts.

Experience
Required
3 to 7 years of manufacturing engineering experience
Must be able to learn on the fly, be an excellent problem solver and be able to work independently.
Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
SolidWorks experience
Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Familiar with Robotics (Fanuc preferred) and industrial controls (Rockwell preferred)
Preferred
Experience troubleshooting PLC controlled equipment preferred.
Experience with the operation of and programming of CNC controlled equipment preferred.
Experience reading electrical schematics and understanding electrical systems is a plus.
