We are looking for Framing Carpenters to add to our crews!
New construction residential
Work sites in Dane County
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Framers start with the bare concrete foundation and build the wooden framework of the house.
* Ability to use basic and intermediate hand tools and power tools/machinery
* Accurately measure distances and/or materials such as boards, timbers, plywood, etc.
,; make sure material is plumb/level
* Install rough door and window frames, subflooring, and temporary supports as needed
* Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and various layouts
* Exceptional written and oral communication (English)
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
*Ability to safely lift/carry 50-75lbs or more frequently
*Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Must be reliable, punctual, and have strong work ethic
* Requires working outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions
* Valid driver’s license strongly preferred - Must have reliable transportation to and from job site(s)
* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
SHIFT DETAILS:
*Mondays through Thursdays, 7am to 4pm
*Fridays 7am to 12pm
---No nights / No weekends---
COMPENSATION:
*Based on experience and skillset.
*Typically $20 with no experience
*$22+ with a few years of framing experience
