Primary Location: United States (US) - Wisconsin - Horicon Function: Factory Engineering (CA) Title: Quality Manager - 106278 Onsite/Remote:Onsite Position Your Responsibilities As a Quality Manager located in Horicon, WI (centrally located between Madison and Milwaukee) you will lead a team of salary and wage quality engineers supporting the manufacturing of Premium Riding Lawn Equipment, Utility Vehicles, Non-Wheeled Goods.
This position will lead execution of engineering workflow activities to support design and process changes.
Lead and develop the Factory Quality team through demonstrating personal accountability, the drive to deliver consistent results, and addressing barriers to team and individual success.
Responsible for supporting factory quality process improvements, process optimization, quality risk mitigation, and Continuous Improvement through innovation and project management.
Using data, lead the quality engineers to investigate product quality problems; contain, define root cause for quality issues, and resolve.
Reduce or eliminate waste resulting from non-conformances, rework, scrap, or inefficient processes.
Guide quality planning and execution discussions including PFMEA (Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis), Control Plan, Dimensional Analysis, Product & Process First Pass Yield, and Ship Hold processes.
Work with cross functional teams to design world class quality validation into processes.

What Skills You Need 5 or more years of experience in Quality Engineering 5 or more years of experience in a production environment 3 or more years of experience with direct or indirect people leadership experience: work direction, prioritization, goal setting, performance feedback, mentoring, meeting facilitation, and conflict resolution.
Demonstrated effective problem-solving and communication skills in both a salary and production team environment.
Working experience involving hands-on use of quality tools such as FMEA (Failure Mode Effects Analysis), Control Plans, DPAR (Design Process and Assembly Review), PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), DMAIC (Define Measure Analyze Improve Control), Six Sigma, and 8D problem solving.
Knowledge of International Standards Organization (ISO) requirements.
Knowledge of drawing and schematic interpretation, product models, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
Knowledge of MS PowerBI or similar data analytics programs.
What Makes You Stand Out 7 or more years of experience in a Quality Engineering role.
Six Sigma Training or certifications.
Change catalyst for lean manufacturing culture.
Experience working in one or more cross functional roles including but not limited to manufacturing engineering, operations, product engineering, supply management, and material flow.
Bi-lingual in English and Spanish.
Education Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following: Bachelor’s degree.
