_Responsibilities include, but are not limited to_:
Transport and load/unload roofing materials in truck
Lay new roofing materials such as asphalt, wood, steel, and plastics
Inspect roofing for damage and perform any needed repairs
Spray treatment chemicals on roofs and buildings to seal them from water and weather
Clean rooftops by removing leaves, ice, and other debris
Install insulation materials underneath roofs
Use hand tools such as hammers, electric staplers, and electric spraying tools.
Install solar panels on roofs
_*Qualifications for Roofer*__: __*WE ARE WILLING TO TRAIN!*_
Physical fitness level that will allow for quick movement, climbing, bending, and lifting heavy loads.
Previous experience in roofing, construction, or related scope of work (for the experience leader positions).
Communication and teamwork skills, including an openness to receiving feedback from superiors.
General knowledge of roofing procedures, techniques, and specialties.
Strong work ethic and desire to perform quality work.
Ability to read and follow instructions from blueprints, drawings, and diagrams.
Endurance to spend hours working in extreme weather conditions such as heat or cold.
The candidate must have introductory/general outside and/or inside handyman knowledge: knowing how to precisely read a ruler, lift 50# with reliable transportation.
