The Program Manager, Premium Anesthesia (PM) role will lead and influence a program team to deliver quality products across the product lifecycle.
The PM will define and prioritize trade-offs within the program, define critical interdependencies/deliverables for the cross-functional team, manage program risks, and deliver quality and impactful products on time and within budget.

This role will drive initiatives to improve the effectiveness of the Engineering function and interfaces with other functions to provide effective coordination of metrics, dashboards, functional processes, and cross-functional initiative coordination.
Impacts the team's ability to achieve service, quality and timeliness of objectives.
The role is subject to operating policy objectives.
There is moderate autonomy within the role.
High levels of operational judgment are required to achieve outcomes required.
Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Works closely with the Anesthesia and Respiratory Care Engineering and Product Managers to ensure strategies and priorities are communicated and well executed within the assigned program, focusing on a predictable product release for this product family.
Overall responsibility for the cross-functional (marketing, engineering, QA, RA, supply chain, service, etc) product and program success and impact on the overall program strategy Responsible for developing and managing cross functional, technology led, or product focused programs.
Manages budgets and interfaces with contractors, suppliers, customers and internal functions.
Manages program resource and budget allocation/integration.
Manages schedule, budget, and tollgate process for NPI, requisition, or sustaining programs.
Influences the programs to meet customer CTQs.
Creates and ensures effective and efficient communication across business functions; motivates and energizes the team through leadership Works closely with the Product Manager to drive product direction to meet external customer and market segment needs Works as an equal partner with the Business Team and Program Core Team to deliver quality products on time, within budget, at the correct ICV, with competitive features Solves complex and ambiguous problems leading the strategic and forward-thinking cross functional program execution including (but not limited to) concept discussion, program execution, clinical and pilot trials, supply chain integration into production and product field delivery with product sales and service; demonstrates ability to work at transparently at the business level Works with customers to solicit product feedback to meet product quality and customer expectations Understands and openly supports excellence for all functions within the product program Provides mentoring and coaching to develop cross-functional talent Provides expert guidance and support to the product program organization in various technical/functional aspects of research, engineering, supply chain, and service Leverage their technical/clinical/leadership experience to work on business initiatives aimed at driving technology harmony, innovation, process convergence and/or quality excellence for a specific product Drive a culture that ensures outstanding compliance to product quality & GEHC Quality Management System.

Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Science 6 years experience in program management, project leadership or driving new product introduction.
Experience working in cross-functional relationships, strong influential and communication skills Demonstrated execution at meeting project goals while satisfying quality, performance, schedule, and budget CTQ’s Demonstrated engineering knowledge, program management, and business planning processes, having experience with the full product lifecycle from concept through end of life Familiarity with ISO, FDA and other regulatory standards Demonstrated ability to deliver results while leading multiple projects simultaneously, balancing resources, timing, and quality of outcomes.
Experience working in a global, matrixed organization.
Demonstrated engineering knowledge, program management, and business planning processes Strong written and oral communication skills Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task Demonstrated problem solving ability and results orientation Strategic planner and thinker with ability to drive change across the business unit Desired Characteristics Healthcare product experience Demonstrated knowledge of FDA design controls requirements Sound technical and domain experience in at least one functional technology area Demonstrated experience on global product releases throughout the entire NPI cycle Excellent knowledge in engineering, program management and business planning processes having experience with the full product lifecycle Demonstrated experience in state-of-the-art software development methodologies and tools Demonstrated LEAN skills Proven ability to drive change and proven ability to drive buy-in for initiatives with various global stakeholders.
Experience with GEHC’s Quality Management System, Product development framework and associated tools.
