*Job purpose*
We are seeking energetic and motivated individuals looking for a sweet summer gig working at an ice cream manufacturing plant as a Seasonal Warehouse Freezer Employee! The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks including navigating the inventory system, palletizing finished products, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
This role requires flexibility to work in both a warehouse and freezer environment; ice cream and freezer gear provided.

*Duties and responsibilities*
* Maintain hardening freezer
* Keep clean and organized at all times
* Stock
* Stage ingredients, pallets, and cardboard as needed
* Preserve Roller Conveyor Belt function
* Clean as needed
* Keep line clear
* Work in the warehouse and storage freezer daily
* Palletize ice cream as it comes into freezer from production
* Learn how to safely use an electric pallet jack
* Navigate inventory system with iPad, accurately record inventory
* Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse and freezer areas
* Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
* Assist in other areas/departments of the plant as needed.
*Qualifications*
* Must be at least 18 years of age
* Punctual, predictable, and reliable attendance
* Cooperative and able to take direction
* Must be customer service driven
* Good teamwork skills
* Able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing (Required)
* Previous experience with warehouse inventory management systems/technology
*Physical Requirements*
* Must be able to constantly move ice cream or supplies weighing up to 35 lbs chest high
* Must be comfortable working in the heat or cold that a warehouse experiences based on the environmental season 100% of shift
* Must be able to constantly work in a freezer environment
* Must be able to manually wrap and label pallets of finished product
* Must be able to stand and walk through duration of shift to move about inside the freezer and warehouse
* Must be able to detect fire, trip, or other safety hazards
*Education & Experience*
High School Diploma or GED preferred
*Schedule*
* Estimated Duration: Start Immediately - September 1, 2024
* Monday-Friday, 5:45 AM start time
* 25-40 hours based on candidate preference
