This individual will work directly with our Vice President, Enterprise Strategy & Corporate Development, to build out and expand our business development strategy.
This position will be responsible for driving opportunities into WPS' Federal Business Development Pipeline.
Working on continued growth with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS), Defense Health Agency (DHA) and Veterans Affairs (VA) agencies.
This role will have high exposure and interact with our Enterprise leadership Team.

Have developed and sustained relationships with the broader federal health business community to facilitate identification of potential partnerships.
Enjoy providing ongoing assessment of market position and competitive trends across businesses.
Have experience identifying and analyzing new business opportunities and assessing organizational capabilities required to pursue.
Have experience building a pipeline of opportunities and leading gate reviews related to pursuit of these opportunities.
Enjoy developing business development plans and strategies for specific federal opportunities.
Like to support bid and proposal teams on government proposals.

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree of Business Administration or related field or equivalent post high school and/or related work experience.
2 or more years of related work and/or business development experience.
Preferred Qualifications 5 or more years specifically managing business development activities.
Master of Business Administration or other relevant advanced degree.
Experience building relationships with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS), Defense Health Agency (DHA) or Veterans Affairs (VA) or Department of Defense (DoD).
Experience with formalized business development processes like the Shipley Method.
Salary Range $175,000 ~$225,000 The base pay offered for this position may vary within the posted range based on your job-related knowledge, skills, experience and may fall outside the posted range.
