We are looking for Inbound Sales Development Specialists to provide our customers with a great first impression of our company.
These sales roles answers inbound customer calls and create quotes and orders based on the customer’s needs.
Demco is a leading supplier to libraries and schools, and our Sales Development Specialists have a passion for supporting educators and librarians.
They build personal relationships by asking good questions and resolving the customers' issues.

What You’ll Do Every Day
Receive 40-60 inbound calls daily from customer wanting to place an order or request a quote
Key order in between calls that arrive via email and fax
Exhibit an outgoing personality and a customer-centric mindset while building rapport with customers
Ask good questions and learn about the customer’s needs
Listen intently to ensure we provide solutions that meet customer expectations, budget, and time needs
Assist customers to place orders or get quotes
Help increase top-line revenue and provide value to our customers by leveraging promotions, cross-selling, and upselling while also building awareness of new product launches and Demco’s proprietary solutions
Make outbound calls 1-2 hours daily to follow-up on leads from prior calls
Qualify opportunities and deliver them to the Inside Sales or Consultative Sales teams
What You’ll Bring to Demco
Two-year degree in a business- or communications-related field or one year of experience working in a sales environment
Previous experience with cross-selling or upselling is preferred
Strong PC knowledge, including experience using Microsoft Outlook and Word with proficient typing skills
Competitive qualities, including being driven, self-motivated, and goal-oriented
Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with internal partners, customers, and prospects
Must have good follow-up and organizational skills, be able to work in a fast past environment, and be a team player
These positions offer a Monday through Friday work schedule, from 8:00 a.
m.
to 4:30 p.
m.
