*Job Summary:* Weruva’s Regional Sales Manager/Merchandiser is responsible for representing Weruva’s many brands throughout their sales territory.
This exciting and fast-paced position requires a spirited and competitive Regional Sales Manager who will support, educate, and grow our current customers while continually seeking out new opportunities to expand their territory.
This is not a traditional sales role; to be a Regional Sales Manager at Weruva it requires relationship building, knowledge of digital marketing tools and strategies available to B2C retailers, a love for animals of all kinds, and a drive to win the sale! *Responsibilities* *:* * *Overview*– The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for managing customer growth through daily face to face sales and merchandising calls to customers, thus establishing and maintaining customer relationships.
You will also develop an effective and productive working relationship with distribution partners inside and outside sales teams.
* *Sales*– You’ll introduce and close sales of new products with existing and new customers, generate sales orders to new and existing customers, and support sales growth through merchandising and positioning products in the best possible scenario for each location.
* *Education*– As a Regional Sales Manager you’ll educate customers and consumers via seminars on key pet problems and how diet can improve health.
You will also help inform customers on how they can better sell Weruva products through education, promotions, and with the use of marketing tools.
* *Budget*– You will be required to operate within an established sales budget as provided by your Sales Team Leader.
* *Travel*– You’ll be required to travel within your territory, up to 60% overnight travel, as well as travel to bi-yearly sales meetings.
You’ll be required to maintain a professional working image in self and your work environment, including your vehicle.
* *Continued Education*– Required continual education to stay informed on the latest industry products and changes.
You’ll also attend bi-yearly sales meetings to continually develop your product knowledge and improve sales skills.
* *Outgoing personality*– In conjunction with your own personality, you’re required to convey the unique brand attributes and voice of Weruva through all communications.
You’ll also be expected to maintain an ethical and cooperative relationship consistent with company image and goals.
*Skills & Requirements:* * 1 Years Retail/Customer Facing Job Experience and or/Bachelor’s Degree Or Equal Education & Life Experience * Experience using Google business suite, iPad, CRM, mobile phone, and basic computer skills.
* Comfortable with public speaking, and ability to communicate clearly and concisely both written and verbally.
* Ability to demonstrate time management and organizational skills in both digital and analog environments.
* Must hold and maintain a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
* Must have a safe and well-maintained vehicle for travel.
