How will you make an impact? The Cell Biology Digital Marketing Team is seeking a highly analytical and data-driven Digital Marketing Specialist to join the team.
As an integral member of our marketing department, you will play a meaningful role in optimizing our online presence to accelerate customer acquisition and online conversion! This position will plan and implement initiatives to optimize our web content, specifically for search engine marketing, both external and internal; as well as other related technical and marketing projects.
The Digital Marketing Specialist will partner with other Digital Marketers, Product Managers, Market Development, and eBusiness teams for successful execution.
The ideal candidate will be data driven and possess a strong background in global digital channels of search, social, web, and display.
Location: Onsite role at a Thermo Fisher Scientific office What will you do? Liaise with Product Management, Marketing, Digital, Regional, and Web teams to optimize or generate ads, product attributes, and DSA content evaluations for various portfolios and workflow solutions Conduct detailed SEM research and analysis to ensure the identification and activation of relevant optimization opportunities Collaborate with the SEO team to align SEM ads with website keywords and improve overall search engine visibility Identify SKUs with missing attributes and work with Product Managers and Global Market Developers to improve internal search engine results Coordinate website page reduction, content overlap, and improve the customer journey to enhance user experience and conversion rates Collaborate with channel owners to understand initiatives being taken and report back to the business with progress and impact updates.
Coordinate the efforts of Global Marketing Developers in support of the optimization of our SEM initiatives Analyze website metrics and digital performance using tools such as Adobe Analytics, SEMRush, PowerBI, Adobe Ad Cloud, and channel platforms, providing reports and insights to business partners Stay informed about global and regional search channels, algorithm updates, and search engine guidelines to ensure compliance and adapt strategies Share knowledge and insights with the team, fostering a culture of learning and growth May perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.
How will you get here? Education Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Communications, Marketing, or Business field required Master's degree preferred Experience 4+ years of search engine marketing experience Experience with web analytics and search tools Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Excellent communication and collaboration skills, strong organizational and time management processes to run multiple projects simultaneously and meet targets Meticulous with outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities Experience working in a highly matrixed environment.

Compensation and Benefits The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $83,300.
