Job Summary: The mission of the Alumni Relations team at the Wisconsin School of Business is to understand the needs and interests of our 45,000+ alumni and 5,000+ donors to create effective engagement, storytelling, and philanthropic investment opportunities.
The Alumni Relations team is comprised of engagement and communication professionals who build and deliver an active portfolio of alumni and donor communications and activities.
The team leverages insights collected regularly from our alumni to identify target audiences, tailor our storytelling, and build programming and experiences to support our alumni and enhance the Business Badger network.
The Alumni Relations Coordinator will be responsible for providing project and program support, facilitating communications regarding programs and events, and working with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute project plans that align with the strategic goals of the Alumni Relations team.
This role will provide overall project management to complement an existing team accountable for writing, design, and outreach planning.
This includes overseeing projects from start to finish while ensuring they're delivered on time, on strategy, and on budget.
The Alumni Relations Coordinator will also assist in the development and administration of alumni engagement and volunteer programs, such as regional ambassadorship and affinity programs.
This includes coordinating logistics for programs and supporting related activities, processes, and communications.
Occasional on-site support during program implementation may be required (including some nights/weekends and out of state travel).
This role will report to the Associate Director of Alumni Relations on our hybrid team working 40% in person and 60% remotely.
A successful candidate will be an organized self-starter with a can-do attitude who can collaborate well with teammates.
This role also requires polished communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a knack for creative problem solving.

Some work may be performed remotely, at an offsite, non-campus work location.
