The position will be based in our corporate headquarters, near Madison, WI, but it will offer a hybrid work arrangement allowing the flexibility to work a few days a week from home.

What You'll Learn:
How to concept, write and edit copy for website, email, retail signage, packaging, catalog, advertising (print and digital), social media, product videos and other special projects
How to write new, exciting product descriptions and contribute creative concepts to seasonal campaigns
How to contribute to the research and writing of cross-channel editorial as part of our storytelling mission
How to adapt writing style to fit the distinct voice of each brand within the Duluth family, as well as meet the unique requirements of each selling channel
How to work with product managers and designers to become a product expert, fully understanding features and benefits to be communicated
How to brainstorm, research and provide legal screening of powerful new branded product names
How to contribute to the approval routing processes; work to address changes/edits, maintain standards and ensure accuracy
How to uphold trademarks and copyrights; ensure that promotions, legal disclaimers, product details and contact information are always accurate
How to use a project management system to organize, prioritize and self-manage work to meet production deadlines
What We’re Looking For:
Current College Student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field
Passion and proven skill for creative writing
Interest in human psychology
Ability to think critically under pressure
Digital experience and knowledge of SEO
