* We are seeking a experienced and driven Catering Sales Manager for the BB Jacks restaurant /bar, music and event space.
This individual will thrive in delivering the ultimate customer experience and service.
The Catering Sales Manager is responsible for managing the overall sales event lifecycle of the catering events.
*Duties and responsibilities:*
* Responsible for managing the overall sales event lifecycle of the catering event
* Builds & maintains relationships with local partners to jointly secure and maximize catering opportunities
* Contributes to and manages the development of strategic sales initiatives
* Ability to analyze sales trends, client needs & wants to enhance experience
* Proactively engaging in networking and other lead generating activities
* Promptly responds to all client correspondence, phone, email, including initial inquiry correspondence, proposal development for all leads and follow up to secure business
* Negotiate with clients through the use of creative and attractive menu presentations
* Manage client relations
* Ensure that banquet event order requirements are fulfilled within the space as pertains to room set up, decorations, food items, cleanliness, order and quality of service and food product, service standards of staff and cleanliness of the area before and after the event.
* Booking of performing artist for live music venue
* Ensures that the banquet/event has a seamless turnover from sales to operations and back to sales while consistently delivering a high level of service
* Handling client contracts and billing to ensure accurate and timely payment of deposits and final payments
* Lead weekly BEO meetings with operations & culinary to ensure everyone is aligned on event expectations
* Works with the General Manager to create catering menus
* Ability to work quickly and efficiently
*Qualifications:*
* Four year college degree preferred, however any combination of education and training within catering sales and event management may also be considered.
* High school diploma/equivalent required
* 2 + years catering/event sales role
* 2+ years’ bar/restaurant experience preferred
* Provide excellent customer service to all guests
* Excellent verbal communication and organizational skills
* Teamwork skills and work collaboratively in a fast-paced restaurant environment

Pay: From $40,000.
