*Farmers Implement* is looking for an Agricultural Sales Representative who will specialize in agricultural equipment, agricultural systems, or precision agriculture technology retail sales of our products to an assigned territory and in store.
This would be at both of our locations in Allenton WI, and Columbus WI, and surrounding territories.
​*Responsibilities: *To include onsite customer appointments, travel to and from customers locations.
80%-90% of the duties/responsibilities below require to be at onsite customer locations and / or to travel.
A valid driver’s license is required.
To obtain a CDL or CMV is preferred, but not required.

Sales 50% of time* 1.
Complete the intake of orders from customers in person, email, or by phone.
2.
Identify what new and innovative products would benefit existing customers and set up appointments to review with customers.
3.
Consult with customers to suggest improvements with their existing equipment.
4.
Demonstrate the use of new agriculture equipment to customers.
5.
Develop sales contracts and complete paperwork within assigned guidelines.
6.
Document all customer and sales activity in dealer CRM database *B.
Prospecting 30% of time* 1.
Create a list of prospective clients on a routine basis.
2.
Consult with sales team to identify ways to acquire new customers.
3.
Develop sales tools to share with prospective clients.

Customer Service 20% of time* 1.
Provide customers with information on the estimated delivery schedule, contracts, warranty, and or other information related to their purchases.

Handle all customer questions, requests, complaints, and needs in a positive, timely manner.
*Experience & Educational Requirements*: o At least 1-3 of progressive agriculture/construction equipment related sales experience and/or education.
o Excellent interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills.
o Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
o Ability to perform general mathematical calculations.
o Highly self-motivated and directed.
o Exceptional customer service orientation.
o Must have an excellent working knowledge of farm implement equipment and associated parts/services required for customers.
A bachelor’s degree in business, agricultural business, agriculture, marketing, or agricultural systems is most often preferred to be a sales representative – equipment and ag systems.
