I moved to Madison 5 months ago for a job with the university.
My contract will end in mid or late May 2025, and as such I am looking for a lease or less formal arrangement from mid-July to late May.
My budget is $1000/month.
The closer to the university the better, as that is where I will be working, but I'd be willing to consider anywhere within a 30-minute drive of it.
I am a 23-year-old male.
I received my bachelor's in statistics from the University of Maryland in December 2022.
Before moving to Madison, I was traveling for a good deal of the past year and a half, having spent two summers working in Alaska's tourism industry and an additional two months traveling across Israel and Eastern/Central Europe.
I will also spend two months of this upcoming summer working right outside of Theodore Roosevelt National Park in North Dakota before returning to Madison in late July.
I will be leaving for this trip in mid-May, so I'd like to have a place secured by then.
I am not noisy or much of a party animal - I keep clean and am respectful of your space, and while by no means am I antisocial I rarely have guests over.
Hobbies include running, hiking, watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and reading history books.
I do have a car, so wherever I would be living I would need a parking space.
And as a deterrent to any scammers, let me say right now, I will not be paying any application fees or giving you any sensitive information until after I see the unit and we meet in person :).
That is also the reason I did not provide any photos of myself if you are wondering.
