The Department of Corrections is currently recruiting to fill an Offender Records Supervisor position.
This position is based out of Oakhill Correctional Institution (Oregon, WI, Dane County).
This position includes the option of a hybrid work schedule (i.
e.
, a combination of on-site and telework) depending probationary status, work performance, and operational needs of the institution.

Position Summary This position is responsible for supervising the overall operations of Records Office including the processing of legal actions and providing information to criminal justice agencies and the public as required and/or requested, provision of technical services to inmates, DOC staff and the public.
This position manages the Records Office; supervises subordinate staff; and implementing the Affirmative Action/Civil Rights Compliance Plans within areas of responsibility and in compliance with federal and state laws.
This position requires the exercise of considerable independent judgment and responsibility to assure that the release of inmates is consistent with court-established sentences and current law.
Salary Information The starting pay is between $42,099 and $77,584 per year depending on qualifications, plus excellent benefits.
Pay on appointment for current state employees may vary according to the applicable pay transaction provisions of the compensation plan and Wisconsin Administrative Code.
The pay schedule/range is 81-04.
A 12-month probationary period may be required.

Qualifications Minimally qualified applicants will have training and/or experience: · Performing complex mathematical calculations/computations, (e.

performing sentencing calculations, establishing release dates, parole eligibility, mandatory release dates etc.
) · Analyzing, interpreting and applying state and federal laws, administrative rules and regulations · Monitoring regulatory activity to maintain compliance with records and documents and document management laws.
