Safety Certification Instructor

Seeking instructor to teach American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED to YMCA staff and community participants of various ages and skill levels.
Classes may be daytime or evening, weekday or Saturdays.
Experience preferred.
Approximately 1-4 classes per month.
POSITION SUMMARY: This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
Promote culture of safety within Association and provide instruction and testing according to certification standards and requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS: 16 years of age or older according to American Red Cross Current Red Cross or YMCA Instructor Certification specific to certification being taught, required.
Certifications that must be obtained and maintained within first 90 days: Child Abuse Prevention, Bloodborne Pathogens, Hazard Communication.
Willingness to attend meetings, training, and obtain additional certification as requested.
