Description
The Sauk Prairie School District is seeking a student-centered, technology-savvy, energetic educator with a passion for teaching Culinary arts, and other FACS courses to join our exemplary Career and Technical Education Department.
* This is a stable and in demand position for our school.
In the last four years, we have always had over 250 students taking FACS courses each year.
* The course load is currently 2/3 Culinary Arts and 1/3 Child Development and Health Management
District Description: The district includes Sauk City and Prairie du Sac, two “next door” villages known as Sauk Prairie.
They are located on the beautiful Wisconsin River.
Thirteen towns and the village of Merrimac are also in the district.
The area features rolling hills, meadows, bluffs, forests, lakes and streams.
The district offers small-town, rural living with easy access to the Madison urban area (25 miles) and to the Wisconsin Dells recreation area (28 miles).
The district serves 2,800 students, and is comprised of six learning communities with a high school of 850 students, middle school of 600 students and four elementary schools of 1,350 students.
WI DPI required certification: 1210 - Family and Consumer Education and/or 1215 - Family/Consumer Services - Vocat F/CE
