Description
Math Interventionist Teacher at Sauk Prairie Middle School
The Sauk Prairie School District is seeking a student-centered, equity-minded educator with a passion for collaboration to join our Multi-level Systems of Support (MLSS) team as our Middle School Math Interventionist.
Math interventionists work with students to help them improve specific math skills.

They use district-approved assessments and instructional materials to identify lagging skills and provide appropriate support.
This is a half-time position that could be every other day or parital days.
Successful candidates will bring the following qualities and attributes:
• Wisconsin teaching license for Middle School (grades 6 through 8)
• Preferred math experience
• Maintain confidentiality regarding student data and support
• Collaborate frequently with classroom teachers to best promote student math growth
• Utilize evidence based programs and assessments to fidelity
• Assist in the evaluation of ongoing programs and make recommendations for change
• Coach, model, and mentor staff in the use of math strategies and programs in order to build capacity
• Willingness to provide professional development opportunities and leadership to district staff
• Collect, maintain, and share assessment data and facilitate data driven discussions within Professional Learning Communities
• Familiar with the Multileveled Systems of Support within a school setting
