Youth and Adult Sewing Instructor
MSCR or Madison School & Community Recreation is Madison’s public recreation provider.
We offer everything you would find in your typical community rec department in an accessible, inclusive setting.
Programs include swimming, arts & enrichment, adult & 50+ fitness, sport leagues, outdoor pursuits and more.
As a department of the Madison Metropolitan School District(MMSD), we also provide afterschool and summer programming in Madison elementary, middle and high schools.
Program Description:
MSCR's Adult Arts & Enrichment program is seeking youth & adult sewing instructors to teach classes and workshops.
Job Description & Duties:
Teach weekly sewing classes (from beginner to advanced levels) and/or sewing workshops to adults and/or youth participants.
Start Date: To be determined.
Work Location: MSCR West, MSCR East
Hours/week: 3 -10 hours per week
Work hours: Flexible, 9am-9pm, weekdays and weekends.
Application Deadline: Open until filled.
Payrate: 18.

Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates must have previous experience teaching adults and/or youth.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to fix minor repairs on sewing machine.
