*Job description*
KEVA Sports Center is an indoor/outdoor recreational facility in Middleton, WI that administers programs for both youth and adults.
KEVA runs leagues, classes, camps, corporate parties, birthday parties, field trips, group team building outings, tournaments, and expos year-round.
KEVA Sports Center is looking for a fun, energetic, and dependable Volleyball Director to administer our youth volleyball programs.
KEVA has multiple volleyball programs – youth instructional classes, camps, leagues, private lessons, and Squad.
Squad is Keva’s lower cost, lower pressure club experience.
*Responsibilities of this position would include but are not limited to:*
· Coaching:
Coaching Ages 2nd Grade- High School
Classes, Leagues, Squad, Private Lessons
Create curriculum plans
· Staff Management
Hire, Train, Manage volleyball staff
Schedule all shifts
*Knowledge and Skill Requirements:*
· Experience working with youth
· A complete understanding of the sport of volleyball and experience coaching and breaking down volleyball fundamentals
· Must be able to follow and execute training programs for all new hires.
*Program Details:*
20-30 hours per week depending on current programs
· 9-week class season year-round.
Class seasons typically run back-to-back and there are five complete class seasons each year.
Main focus volleyball
· Squad is run for two seasons back-to-back starting in late November.
Each season is 12 weeks long and consists of practices on Monday evenings and games on Fridays.
· Volleyball leagues are run on Friday Evenings
· Private lessons are held when the director can schedule them and when the court schedule allows it.
· Summer consists of 1-2 weeks of volleyball camps and then assistance with day camps
*Pay and Benefits*
· This is a part-time hourly role and include the following:
o $18.
00/hour
o Free use of the facility when applicable
