A Maranatha Baptist Academy faculty member, under direct supervision of the Academy Administrator, is responsible for the direct instruction of high school students, grades 9-12.
These duties include but are not limited to, teaching subject matter of various academic disciplines, maintaining academic and attendance records, maintaining a working knowledge of school information software and learning management systems, attendance at staff meetings, awareness and enforcement of school policies, and meeting other typical volunteer expectations as they arise.
This is a part-time position responsible for teaching Spanish 1 and 2 classes.

* Possess a Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field that indicates academic preparation for content coverage
* Possess or working to possess a Master’s degree in an academic or administrative discipline
* A minimum of five years experience in teaching or a related professional field
* Motivation to increase public awareness and school appeal to constituents
* Aptitude and competence for administrative detail
* Strong up-to-date working knowledge of software such as Microsoft Office products and the Google Applications for Education Suite.

)
