Job Summary:
Teach math curriculum to high school students.
Grade coursework as appropriate.
Sometimes, in collaboration with subject matter coordinator, develop course curriculum in math for high school students.
Responsibilities:
Teaches the quiz, tutorial, discussion or lab section(s) of a course or assists in the development of materials or programs under the direction of an academic staff or faculty member.
May perform the same work as a Teaching Assistant, but is not a UW student.
50% Facilitates classroom and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses including assessment of student performance
25% Assists with the development of instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction under the direction of an academic staff or faculty member
25% Serves as an initial point of contact for students as it relates to specific course or series content and expectations
