40% Assists with the planning and facilitation of classroom programming and classroom coordination and organization for a early childhood education facility according to established curriculums 15% Maintains the safety and physical well-being of children in a designated classroom 15% Updates and organizes individualized and developmental educational plans for children 15% Assists with basic technical and administrative classroom support 15% Documents effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to relay pertinent information and provide updates of child activities per established guidelines and regulations Tasks: Demonstrates and role models exceptional customer service.
Performs duties in a highly diverse childcare center that provides early-childhood, 4K, and school-age programs.
Performs duties that support a multicultural, inclusive, and anti-bias approach to learning and educational environment.
Provides support and assist as needed in the implementation of plans and procedures in the event of an emergency.
Works in accordance with licensing rules and city/national accreditation standards.
Actively supports and participates in children's care, learning, and play activities.
Performs physical duties such as: lifting and carrying children; dressing children and changing diapers; and assisting with serving meals and refreshments to children.

Qualifications: - A minimum of 1 year of experience working with 2-4 year olds in a full day, play-based, early childhood education program is required - Training in High Scope, Pyramid Model, and/or Conscious Discipline preferred Work Schedule: Primary schedule for this position is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Schedule will be determined with selected finalist(s) at time of offer.
Schedule alterations as operations and position expectations demand.
Work Type: Full Time: 100% It is anticipated this position requires work be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location.
Appointment Type, Duration: Ongoing/Renewable Salary: Minimum $19.
14 HOURLY Depending on Qualifications This is a full-time appointment.
The starting hourly wage is $19.
14 per hour or higher based on qualifications.
