Job Summary: The Program Coordinator position will assist with developing, organizing, and administering the newly founded Center for Interfaith Dialogue as well as its undergraduate interfaith fellows program.
It will also assist with developing and organizing interfaith programs, materials, and events to facilitate interfaith relationships on and off campus.
It will develop, implement, and execute outreach and networking strategies between the Center for Interfaith Dialogue and its stakeholders, especially members of CID's Faith Leaders Council and religious minority student communities on campus.
Responsibilities: Provides subject matter expertise in the development and execution of programs within the scope of student learning and development.
Organizes the facilitation and development of curriculum design for on-going and new educational initiatives.
Strives to create a welcoming, equitable, and inclusive work environment.
10% Creates and maintains schedules, logistics, and resources for one or multiple student affairs programs, activities, and/or services 25% Organizes student-focused programming and resources to promote new and ongoing educational initiatives 25% Serves as a subject matter expert regarding student affairs to internal and external stakeholders 10% Generates and analyzes reports of curricular and unit outcomes 10% Writes, edits, and publishes content for various communication projects and marketing platforms to align with strategic initiatives and established communication campaigns 10% Develop, implement, and execute outreach and networking strategies among CID's stakeholders 10% May help supervise and train students participating in the undergraduate interfaith fellow program Tasks: Assist with organization and development of the center's interfaith fellows' program together with the center's director, in particular by reaching out to and creating regular communications with minority and international students.
Assist the center's director in coordinating interreligious student programming and communication.
This includes events on and off campus in the evening hours.
Handle some of the director's routine correspondence with undergraduate students.
Collaborate with undergraduate students by fostering healthy in-person and online discussions of religious diversity, moderate discourse on interfaith literacy and advocacy issues on the center's website and in classroom situations.
Assist the center's director in drafting program assessments as required by the university.
Help coordinate and create the center's digital and social media output.
Develop, implement and execute outreach and networking strategies among CID stakeholders.

pdf Additional Information: The newly established Center for Interfaith Dialogue, now housed within Student Affairs, expands on the work of the formerly named Center for Religion and Global Citizenry (CRGC) that was established in the College of Letters and Science in 2017.
The new center will promote religious inclusivity as part of UW-Madison's overall diversity and equity programming for students.
CRGC's mission was to increase students' religious literacy as well as their dialogue skills so that they could function effectively as citizens of a religiously diverse world.
The Center for Interfaith Dialogue will offer students opportunities to learn about different religious and spiritual identities while equipping them with skills to communicate effectively with people from various backgrounds.
In the process, it will: provide resources and offer programs for religious and spiritual diversity, identity, literacy, spiritual well-being and engagement among UW-Madison students; educate students about religious pluralism and promote interfaith dialogue and cooperation; undertake initiatives to foster respect and understanding among the different religious communities on campus; and pay special attention to student communities for whom religious and spiritual identity is of particular importance during their time in college.
The Center for Interfaith Dialogue is part of Student Affairs at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, led by the vice chancellor for student affairs.
