Job Summary: The Department of Family Medicine and Community Health is interested in a Family Medicine physician to join the UW Health Northport Drive Clinic.
This physician faculty will practice full-spectrum family medicine in the inpatient and outpatient settings, with maternity care (OB) being preferred.
This position will be involved in teaching of residents, medical students, and other learners.
This position will include academic scholarly work if the finalist is hired on the CHS Track.

Responsibilities: Duties will include provision of clinical care of patients, with maternity care if applicable, and teaching/supervision of residents, medical students, and other learners.
Teaching occurs in both clinical settings and in formal scheduled learning sessions.
Time and other departmental and campus-wide resources are available to promote scholarly work in the candidate's area(s) of interest.
This position includes participating in residency faculty call schedule, covering inpatient med/peds and OB, or potentially both.
Faculty are expected to attend required departmental meetings and perform administrative duties, as necessary to support the clinical and scholarly missions of UW Health and the School of Medicine and Public Health.
There may be an expectation for nursing home visits.
This position may also include opportunities to work on collaborative initiatives within UW-SMPH & UW Health.
An essential part of these duties will be working in a collegial relationship promoting an inclusive environment with other faculty and staff members.
The preferred candidate will either have experience teaching and working with diverse populations or will welcome a commitment to teaching and working with diverse populations.
DFMCH is seeking family medicine physicians who encompass a variety of skills that relate to how they engage with patients and work in teams.
