5th Grade Classroom Teacher

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Classroom Teacher to join our team.
As a Classroom Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young learners and creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
This is a paid position that requires experience in childcare and a strong background in early childhood education.
Duties: - Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum - Create a safe and nurturing classroom environment - Provide individualized attention and support to each student - Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through various activities - Manage classroom behavior and promote positive discipline techniques - Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education - Utilize effective classroom management strategies to maintain an organized and productive learning environment - Utilize library services to enhance student learning experiences Skills: - Strong classroom management skills - Excellent proofreading abilities for reviewing educational materials - Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting - Ability to write effectively for lesson plans, progress reports, and other communication with parents/guardians - Proficient in behavior management techniques - Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices - Understanding of early childhood education methodologies - Familiarity with library services that support educational goals Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred) - Valid teaching certification or license (required) - CPR and First Aid certification (preferred) - Prior experience as a Classroom Teacher or similar role (preferred) If you are passionate about education, have a love for working with children, and possess the necessary skills and qualifications, we invite you to apply for the position of Classroom Teacher.
