Hickory Hill Academy is seeking a warm, experienced, and qualified *Spanish Teacher* to add to our team!
_Hickory Hill Academy is an independent school and traditional preschool serving children ages 12 weeks-8 th grade.
Located on a 10 acre farmette, our program offers a variety of enrichment programs including science, art, physical education, music, world languages, and more.
During the summer, our program serves hundreds of students for our beloved “Summer on the Farm” program.

This role is responsible for coordinating the curriculum, and managing the day-to-day operational activities of Spanish classes for the school.
Maintain an understanding of children’s cognitive, social, emotional and physical development in order to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed.
*QUALIFICATIONS*
* Associate’s Degree in education or related field of study; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
* Advanced training in spanish language
* Minimum 2 years of professional education experience
* Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification
* Demonstrated professional demeaner with exemplary verbal and written communication skills
* High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment
* Successful completion of state required background checks and health screening
* Ability to prioritize tasks and successfully manage multi-tasking situations
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Proficient in Google Workspace
