Teacher Assistant - John Muir

The Portage Community School District has an opening for a teacher assistant at John Muir Elementary.
This is a 2nd through 5th grade building.
Responsibilities include lunch and outside recess duty as well as classroom assistance.
The position is for up to 29 hours per week.
The schedule is 6 hours per day Monday through Thursday and 5 hours per day on Fridays.
This position is during the school year.
Work days are the same as the school calendar, so the position does not work Christmas, spring break or other days when school is closed.
