Creative Learning Preschool (CLP) is looking to hire a full-time two-year-old teacher.
CLP is seeking a candidate who is able to build quality connections with families.
CLP is a play-based nonprofit preschool conveniently located just off Capitol Square in the heart of Madison.

Duties
Our Program benefits from a play based High/Scope curriculum.
Teachers plan their own classroom's individual weekly lesson plans including incorporating our downtown neighborhood, the library, Capitol lawn and neighboring museums with guidance and training from in-house classroom coach.
Children and staff alike have fun while working and learning.
Meals are served family style with a focus on food that is prepared from scratch and fresh, sourcing from our on-sight garden when possible.
Classrooms often benefit from support staff reducing staff to child ratios as well as smaller group sizes.
Requirements
Passion for early childhood education and a strong desire to make a difference every day.
Excellent, organizational, verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
Ability to collectively and compassionately solve problems as they arise.
Meet physical requirements of the job including; lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, sitting on the floor, and walking long distances.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Have completed high school or its equivalent, as determined by the Wisconsin department of public instruction.
Registry certificate or willingness to become a member.
Pediatric CPR and First Aid Certification within 30 days of hire.
Willingness to complete licensing required pre-service certifications.
Nice To Haves
Early childhood education experience with an understanding of developmentally appropriate practices.
Degree or credential in early childhood education or a related field.
Experience working in group child care.
