This is a womans size 8, 100% pure wool blazer/jacket.
A Harris Tweed is a herringbone weave fabric sold by Hebrides of Scotland to designers.
The wool used is home grown, sheared, spun, dyed, sold as yarn to and then handwoven by Hebrides of Scotland.
This jacket is a traditional 2 button with 3 buttons on each sleeve, breast pocket and two flap pockets.
It is fully satin lined.
It was tailored in the US by Richard Evans and it numbered 716078.
New Harris Tweeds retail at nearly $400.
This jacket is in excellent shape except for slight damage to one sleeve button and a bit of the adjoining one.
It is vintage circa 1960.
Color is beige's,tans, browns.
