Job Summary This person will operate assigned machinery in a safe and responsible manner.
This person will maintain accurate and detailed records of all daily production, and work successfully with co-workers throughout the facility.
Additionally, this person will communicate any repair and maintenance issues to the Operations Manager, and will be committed to all quality, housekeeping, and employee safety practices.
The successful candidate will have knowledge of a variety of manufacturing processes, including GMP.
General Function: Assist in the production of all items manufactured at the facility.
Reports to: Operations Manager Wage: $17.
50-$20.
00/hour **Standards of Performance:** Accurate completion of daily paperwork Observe and follow all company safety procedures, GMPs, and other company policies Identify work that needs to be done; take initiative to get it done Develop a positive business relationship with all members of the organization Authority: To stop a process for personal safety and/or quality reasons Shift hours are 6:30 a.
m.
until 3:00 p.
m.
, Monday through Friday.
Some Saturdays as required Responsibilities and Duties: Continually work to improve the condition of the facility; assist with assigned cleaning and sanitation duties Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds or more on a regular and consistent basis Ability to bend, twist, reach, climb, kneel, etc.
Complete required paperwork Wear and maintain all assigned PPE Follow established Quality and Safety procedures Qualifications: A minimum of 1 year production experience in an industrial manufacturing environment Experience packaging, using pallet jacks, ladders, and hand tools Ability to work in an environment that has temperature extremes (very cold to very warm) A basic understanding of Quality and Safety procedures, GMPs, and employee safety programs Basic math skills, good written and verbal communication skills Benefits Comprehensive health insurance benefits will be available after 60 days of employment 401k participation effective immediately Job Type: Full-time You should be proficient in: Experience in a Manufacturing Environment High School / GED Meets Physical Requirements Salary info: $17.
