Our front of house manager works alongside our general manager to develop a strong front of house staff and provide a consistent and excellent guest experience.
The ideal front of house manager is a skilled communicator and motivator assisting in day-to-day operations, ordering supplies, tracking inventory, and controlling goods and labor costs.
Strong communication and respect for all team members and guests is required.

Front of House Manager Responsibilities: * Sets the tone on front-of-house operations during scheduled shifts that include staff support and integration with the back-of-house keeping with company culture.
This position reports directly to the GM.
* Actively promotes, facilitates and engages in first-class customer service * Recruits, staffs, trains and develops team members through ongoing training and coaching * Facilitate a high level of training for newly hired staff and continue development of all team members on continuous improvement and professional development * Ensures food and beverage quality by maintaining high levels of accuracy, cleanliness, organization, storage, and sanitation of products according to food health and safety standards.
* Cross-trained at front of house positions and leads staff by example.
No one is above any task.
* Helps handle deposits and ensures proper cash handling is being followed * May assist in processing and filing weekly invoices * May help in creating content for social media * Carefully observes restaurant operations, takes periodic inventory and addresses any issues and conflicts * Develop deep knowledge of our products and disperse that information as required to staff and guests * Maintains positive relationships with community members * Capable and willing to handle difficult situations involving staff or guests * Identifies operational opportunities to build sales and control costs and implements plans to address * Manage the receiving and storing off front of house products to minimize waste * Fosters and leads by example with positive open communication between all departments * Organizes and completes daily cleaning/maintenance checklist as well as proper deep cleans Required Skills: * Ability to work on your feet for 8 hours a day * Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds at a time on a regular basis * Two years of restaurant or bar experience preferred * One year of previous management experience preferred * Knowledge of Toast POS and can edit/add when needed * High level of professionalism and respect for teammates and guests * Comfortable working in an active fast-paced environment * Cleanliness and proper knowledge of food safety and restaurant operations * Dependable, punctual, and on time * POS, computer, and Google Workplace literacy * Excellent verbal communication and organization skills * Job Type Available: Full-time with two days off per week Compensation: * $50,000-$60,000 per year inclusive of quarterly bonus and tip pool.
Wage is leveraged at 80% guaranteed salary and 20% at risk via quarterly bonuses and tip pool.
