Our line cooks work alongside our kitchen managers on the line producing consistent high-level dishes while also maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and food prep safely and smoothly in a fast-paced operation.
Everyone shares duties, including dishes.
The ideal line cook is passionate about quality food, detail-oriented, and a skilled communicator.
Strong communication and respect for all team members and guests is required.

_Line Cook Responsibilities:_
* Full knowledge of menu items and know how to properly execute each dish including plating/packaging in a timely manner.
This position reports directly to the PM kitchen manager.
* Ensures food quality by maintaining high levels of cleanliness, organization, storage, and sanitation of food products according to food health and safety standards.
* Monitor product freshness, date mark all prepped items, and rotate out products as necessary.
* Works line and prep, clean, and wash dishes between orders.
No one is above any task.
* Helps develop recipes for new menu items alongside the kitchen managers
* Organizes and completes daily cleaning/maintenance checklist as well as proper deep cleans
_Required Skills:_
* Ability to work on your feet for eight hours a day
* Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds at a time on a regular basis
* One year of previous cooking experience preferred
* High level of professionalism and respect for teammates and guests
* Comfortable working in an active fast-paced environment
* Cleanliness and proper knowledge of food safety
* Dependable, punctual, and on time
* Computer literacy
* Excellent verbal communication and organization skills
_Job Type Available:_ Part-time (<30 hours per week) or full-time (>30 hours per week)
_Compensation: _$16 per hour + tip pool (We guarantee that all BOH employees make a minimum of $20/hr inclusive of base wage and tip pool)
