Hotel Housekeeper

Job Summary: Among other assigned tasks, a Hotel Housekeeper is responsible for cleanliness and sanitation standards at the Fluno Center.
This position has direct contact with our customers and requires excellent customer service abilities.
The position works under the supervision of a the hotel Housekeeping Supervisor.
This is a part-time position working Friday - Sunday 9am-4:30pm.
Responsibilities: Cleans and attends to guest's needs in rooms, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, and replacing amenities.
Stocks supplies and reports damages/repairs to supervisory staff and cleans building common areas.
80% Cleans rooms as assigned and according to guest requests 5% Cleans and maintains hallways and common guest areas 5% Maintains organization of supply areas and equipment and requests additional supplies as needed 5% Documents and reports repairs, violations, and other building needs 5% Directs relations and interactions with customers to accommodate their needs Institutional Statement on Diversity: Diversity is a source of strength, creativity, and innovation for UW-Madison.

Diploma Qualifications: -Previous Housekeeping service over 3 months- Preferred -Ability to pass all physical demands Work Schedule: Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 9am to 3:30pm.
Work Type: It is anticipated this position requires work be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location.
Appointment Type, Duration: Terminal appointment.
This position has the possibility to be extended based on need and/or funding.
Salary: $15.
87 HOURLY Fixed Additional Information: The Wisconsin Union operates from several buildings on the UW-Madison campus including Memorial Union, Union South, Fluno Center, Pyle Center, University Club, Red Gym, and the Student Activity Center.
The Wisconsin Union is a financially self-supporting division of the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Financial support for the organization is provided by income earned by over thirty food service units and a variety of nonfood units such as games, guest rooms, space rentals and campus vending.
Substantial support is also provided by student fees.
The total annual organizational budget is approximately $60 million dollars.
