*Job Title:* Cook/Prep Cook

*Summary:*
The Cook/Prep Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking food according to recipes and standards, as well as assisting with other kitchen duties as needed.
This position is essential to ensuring that our guests receive high-quality food in a timely manner.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*
* Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and slicing
* Cook food according to recipes and standards
* Ensure that food is cooked to the correct temperature and is of high quality
* Portion and plate food for service
* Assist with other kitchen duties as needed, such as cleaning and restocking
* Maintain a clean and organized workspace
* Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines
*Qualifications:*
* High school diploma or equivalent
* 1-2 years of experience in a kitchen setting is preferred.
Willing to train an individual with a desire to learn.
* Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety standards
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
*Physical Demands:*
* The Cook/Prep Cook position requires standing for long periods of time, as well as lifting and carrying heavy objects.
*Work Environment:*
* The Cook/Prep Cook will work in a kitchen environment that is fast-paced.
