Housekeeper

Description: 1.
Maintains and actively promotes effective communication with residents/patients/clients and family members / personal representatives.
2.
Responsible for maintaining a positive image of the entity in the community keeping in alignment with our mission, vision, and values.
3.
To provide a clean/safe, environment following sanitation and cleaning standards.
4.
Maintain knowledge of housekeeping chemicals, housekeeping equipment, their purpose and proper use.
5.
Responsible for following scheduled cleaning as outlined in housekeeping policies and procedures and as directed by supervisor.
6.
Will use proper body mechanics in the performance of all tasks, reporting any unsafe working areas or hazards.
7.
Will read and adhere to resident rights agreement & report any violations immediately.
8.
Will treat residents, families and other staff with dignity and respect.
9.
Will only perform tasks in which they have been trained and will not operate equipment without proper instruction.
10.
Will use personal protective equipment (PPE) when dealing with blood and body fluids following standard universal precautions.
Job Description 11.
Will maintain a calm, composed attitude when dealing with difficult residents and families.
12.
Will maintain good attendance and take breaks only as assigned.
13.
Will work cooperatively with all disciplines.
Perform other similar duties as assigned.
Requirements: 1.
At least 18 years of age.
2.
High School diploma or equivalent.
