Full Time Custodian/Kitchen Assistant - Childcare Center

Kids' Safari Learning Center is a family-owned and operated learning center that serves Cottage Grove and surrounding communities.
*As of January 2022 we are under new ownership.
*We pride ourselves in providing top-notch care and giving children a safe place to learn and be a kid.
We focus on play-based learning and take advantage of learning opportunities throughout the day, utilizing a curriculum that focuses on each child's individual development and promotes healthy social and emotional growth_.
_Each week, classrooms get the opportunity to attend a library session with our in-house librarian and have daily opportunities to visit our gym for large motor play.
Our custodian and kitchen assistant would work independently to ensure center cleanliness.
Additionally, work includes collaborating with our nutrition manager to ensure smooth operations of our kitchen.
Duties could include washing and sanitizing dishes, cooking full meals for children in care, baking cakes to celebrate a child's birthday, and any other necessary kitchen tasks.
We are seeking one full time employee to work within our kitchen and take on the center cleaning responsibilities.
This position would be Monday - Friday from 10 a.
m.
to 6 p.
m.
with a half hour break.
